Search4Faces is a reverse face search engine built on profile photos collected from VK, Odnoklassniki, TikTok, Clubhouse and a set of public figures, rather than the open web. It publishes the size and collection dates of each dataset, with more than a billion VK profile photos in the largest, returns links to profiles on the source platforms, and names no operator, price, login requirement or opt-out process on its home page.

What does Search4Faces do?
Unlike engines that crawl the open web, Search4Faces matches an uploaded face against fixed datasets of profile photos it collected from specific platforms, and returns links to the matching profiles, mainly on vk.com and ok.ru. It is the most transparent of the face engines about what it holds: each dataset is listed with a face count, a processed percentage, collection dates and a stated success rate.

What does it cost and who runs it?
The home page states no price and no login requirement, and the footer gives no company name or address. An API page is linked without details. Third-party traffic estimates place most of its visitors in Russia and neighbouring countries.
Is there an opt-out?
No opt-out process is described on the site. The footer links a privacy policy, terms of use and a copyright policy, which is the closest route for a removal request. Because the datasets were collected from platforms with their own terms, the lawfulness of the collection depends on the platform rules and the data-protection law of the person's country; for EU residents, GDPR Article 9 treats face data as a special category.
How does it compare?
Search4Faces is closer to a platform-specific people finder than to PimEyes or FaceCheck.ID, which crawl public pages. It appears in alternatives lists as the free option for Russian social networks. The engines index lists it with the same fields as the others.
