People search service
Findsio
Findsio is a US people-search service operated by Veknika Inc. of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Its public pages centre on phone-number lookups that return possible names, addresses, social and dating profiles and a spam score, with an image lookup listed alongside. It sells reports by subscription after a USD 1 trial. Third-party listings describe it as a face search platform; its own page did not describe face matching on the day checked.

What is Findsio?
Findsio's home page is a phone-number lookup: enter a number and it "pulls relevant details from publicly available sources", listing possible names, linked addresses, social and dating profiles, email addresses and a spam score. The footer names Veknika Inc. at a Pittsfield, Massachusetts address and links an Image Lookup page, which returned a 404 when fetched on November 6, 2026 (findsio.io). Capterra describes the product as "an AI-powered face search platform that helps users find publicly available photos of a person using facial recognition" with a starting price of USD 14.90 (Capterra).
That gap is the reason for the careful wording here. Findsio appears in 2026 lists of face search engines, and earlier third-party posts described ten free image searches a day without an account. On the day checked, the site itself described a people-search product with reports behind a subscription and said nothing about face matching, free searches or how the image lookup works. Readers should treat the face-search description as unverified until the company's own pages state it.
How does it work and what does it cost?
- Step 1
Enter a phone number or image
The search runs against aggregated public data sources.
- Step 2
Basic report
A preview is shown; the site says the searched person is never notified.
- Step 3
Upgrade for the full report
A USD 1 seven-day trial converts to a subscription; the price after the trial was not legible on the page.
- Step 4
Cancel through the Help Center
The site states there are no cancellation fees and no further charges after cancelling.

Why the FCRA disclaimer matters
Findsio's disclaimer says its information must not be used for decisions about consumer credit, employment, insurance or other purposes regulated by the US Fair Credit Reporting Act. That is the standard people-search position: the company is not a consumer reporting agency, so a landlord or employer who uses it for screening may be the one breaking the law. The FCRA entry explains the line, and it applies equally to face search results used for the same decisions.
Where does it sit among the engines here?
With Social Catfish it represents people-search services that bundle an image or face lookup with phone, name and address searches. Face-first engines such as FaceSearch or PimEyes return public pages where a face appears; people-search services return a report about a person compiled from data brokers (see data broker). The two answer different questions and carry different legal duties.
Questions
Is Findsio a face search engine?
Capterra and several 2026 lists describe it that way. Its own pages, on November 6, 2026, described a phone-number people search with an image lookup link that did not load. The face-search claim is unverified here.
Is Findsio free?
No. A basic preview is free; full reports need a subscription after a USD 1 seven-day trial.
Will the person know I searched?
The site says it sends no alerts, messages or notifications to the searched person.
Can I use Findsio to screen a tenant or employee?
The site's disclaimer prohibits that. Those decisions fall under the FCRA, and Findsio says it is not a consumer reporting agency.
