What does Lenso.ai do?
Lenso.ai is an image search engine first and a face search second. An upload returns results in several categories: people, where faces are matched; places; duplicates of the same picture; and similar or related images. The people category is the reverse face search part of the product and, by the company's own statement, is available only in selected regions. The other categories work everywhere.
What do the plans include?
| Plan | Unlocked source links | Alerts | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Up to 50 results | Up to 10 | Unlimited searches in all categories, watermark removal |
| Professional | 500 | 50 | Research Mode with Deeper Search, up to 10,000 results for People and Duplicates, filters by language, date, size, domain and title, DMCA Assist Mode |
| Developer | 5,000 | 500 | Facial Search API and Reverse Image Search API, up to 5,000 calls, priority support, custom packages on request |
What is Research Mode?
Research Mode is the Professional-plan feature that widens a search from the standard result set to deeper indexed pages and allows filtering by language, date range, domain, size and title keyword. The company presents it as the tool for professional users such as photographers tracking copies, journalists verifying sources and teams working through many images.
How does the opt-out work?
- Step 1
Open the Image Opt-Out Request
The form at lenso.ai/en/opt-out, separate from the DMCA form.
- Step 2
Upload one face photo
The company states one photo is enough to remove all matching images from the People index.
- Step 3
Review
Requests are reviewed on business days, usually within 24 hours; rejections are rare and mainly for unclear faces.
- Step 4
Confirmation
The face is excluded from People results. Source websites are not affected.
Copyrighted images are handled through the DMCA/DSA form instead, which the company lists next to the opt-out. A Data Privacy Officer contact is published for consent withdrawal and account deletion. As with every engine, the removal applies to Lenso.ai only; see the opt-out routes directory for the others.
Where is face search available?
The company does not publish a country list. Its pages say the face category is available in selected regions and that the Face Search API is for displaying images from the People category only. Regional limits of this kind usually follow biometric data rules such as GDPR Article 9 and Illinois BIPA, although Lenso.ai does not state its reasons.
How does it relate to other engines?
Lenso.ai publishes a large blog of guides and alternatives posts about PimEyes, FaceCheck.ID, ProFaceFinder and others. The engines index lists the same fields for every service without ranking.
Questions

How do I remove my face from Lenso.ai?
