Face search engine

ProFaceFinder

ProFaceFinder is a face search and reverse image lookup service that compares an uploaded photo with publicly indexed web images and sells results as one-time credit packs rather than subscriptions. A free initial check shows obscured thumbnails and rough match counts; unblurred results and source URLs need credits. It publishes an opt-out request page and does not name its operator.

What does ProFaceFinder do?

ProFaceFinder is a small reverse face search service. A free initial check returns blurred thumbnails and an approximate count of possible matches; credits unlock the thumbnails and the destination URLs. The site describes its scores as probabilistic rather than proof of identity, the same caution every face engine ought to carry (see similarity score).

The home page lists blogs, news archives, press releases, modelling portfolios, stock libraries and open forums such as Reddit as the kinds of public pages it compares against, and says millions of publicly indexed web images without a precise figure. It states that private accounts, locked profiles and encrypted chats are out of reach, which is true of every engine that indexes the public web.

How does removal work?

  1. Step 1

    Open the opt-out request page

    profacefinder.com/opt-out-request/

  2. Step 2

    Identify the images

Provide the photo or result URLs you want removed.

  3. Step 3

    Wait for email

Earlier vendor copy quoted 7 to 10 business days; the home page gives no timeline.

Removal affects this engine only. The opt-out routes directory lists the equivalent forms for PimEyes, FaceCheck.ID, Lenso.ai and the rest.

What is not published?

Where does it sit among face search engines?

Third-party traffic estimates in late 2026 put ProFaceFinder among the smaller face search sites, with tens of thousands of monthly visits, and it is a regular entry in alternatives lists published by competitors. Its pay-per-pack model is shared with FaceCheck.ID; most other engines sell subscriptions. The engines index shows the same fields for each.

Questions

Is ProFaceFinder free?

The initial check is free and shows blurred thumbnails with a rough count. Unblurred results and source links need a one-time credit pack, $7.95 for 2 searches or $11.95 for 5 on November 6, 2026.

Does ProFaceFinder search social media?

It lists public pages such as blogs, news, portfolios, stock libraries and open forums. It states it cannot reach private accounts or locked profiles.

How do I remove my photos from ProFaceFinder?

Use the opt-out request page. Earlier vendor copy quoted 7 to 10 business days for a reply by email.

Who operates it?

The site does not say. The footer carries only the ProFaceFinder name and a contact link.

What does the free check actually show?

Obscured thumbnails and a rough count of possible hits, enough to see whether a face appears somewhere. The unblurred thumbnails and the destination URLs, which are what make a result useful, require a credit.

Are the match scores proof of identity?

No. The site itself describes its scores as probabilistic. A high score means two faces look alike to the model, which is also true of relatives and strangers who resemble each other.
